KidzQ is a great time with cash prizes and fun! You must be able to prepare your food, cook it, and present without any help. You will be cooking on charcoal grills — you may bring your own or reserve one of ours. We will light them for you. Be on the riverfront anytime after 9:00 am — judging will be at 11:00 am; and the prizes will be awarded at the KCBS awards ceremony at 4:00 pm in Brown Gym that same day. We’ll be looking for your application!
HELLO YOUNG CHEFS – To prepare for the judges, you will
be given your food samples, we will help you light your fires and you can now cook your Bbq entry for turn-in to the judges!

OUR FIRST PLACE WINNERS in each category will receive a $200 Cash Scholarship/
​
OUR SECOND PLACE WINNERS will each receive a $100 Cash Scolarship.
​
PLEASE REMEMBER: All preparation, cooking and presentation must be the responsibility of the contestant and done onsite. The parents are there for safety and morale support! Sit back, relax, watch and let your child amaze you!!!
